Hi all, after there's been some discussion about Every Man got Dreaming and Intensely Radioactive in recent days, which I both have and like (though not as much as Kirk's recent albums under his own name), I was wondering what your opinion is on _Digital Lifeforms_? Any clearly distinguishable differences to his other recent work? It doesn't have the same propulsive dancefloor feel that 'Intensely Radio- active' has, but I never really got into IR much. I think DL is one of Kirk's more enduring works, along with 'Virtual State' and 'Plasticity' - it's nice and groovy. Then again, I never did buy 'Every Man Got Dreaming,' as I decided I'd kind of burnt out on him after not liking 'The Number of Magic' or 'The Idea of Justice' (which I see is out domestic in the US now) at all. I'll be buying the forthcoming 'Dark Continent' CD reissue for sure, though. :) C. -- cspot@hyperreal.com (Chris.Hilker)
