greetings all, Well, the usual thread is "you people in the UK are so lucky"... I'm usually jealous of all the releases you have easy access to, great appearances/raves etc, and most of, that "techno" is popular enough to make it onto the charts and get air/video play. Well, I've never seen a "techno" video per say. I just did. The guy on the US Mtv 120mintues just said "this track is no. 1 in GB" Well, not only is Firestarter by the Prodigy possibly the worst, and most annoying track I've ever heard, but the video is even worse. I really hope all you decent people in the UK don't have to put up with constant bombardment of this awful, iritatiing, and well, stupid, video. It's worse than anything USA Mtv plays(when I watch it for 5min a day). Maybe I'm glad that I don't live in the UK. Maybe all "techno" videos inherently suck. Are there any good idmish videos? I'm sure they don't get airplay in the UK anyway yes? I'm going to go read something in an attempt to get the image of that vile Prodigy clown-guy out of my head. I wish a train came at the end of the video and ran him over. goodnight. and-e

What?! The song (which hasn't been No. 1 for *ages*) is absolutely top! The video reinforces the `edginess' of the song - seeing Keith staring manically into the camera whilst he smacks himself over the head. Incidentally the video caused an uproar in the UK (according to the tabloids) due mainly to the amount of metalwork in Keiths face. Ah well, that's what comes of living in Braintree I suppose....
