I'm sure this has been discussed before, so sorry for not paying attention... Having picked up two releases on Skam on a recent visit to London, I'm eager to get some more... I have SKA 03 through 06 (Gescom, Freeform, Bola, Jega), and know SKA 02 is the first Gescom (anyone care to swap this for HAB II or the very first Autechre 12"?), but have no idea about SKA 01. Does someone know what it is and if it's still available? Also, there's an insert with the Freeform record that mentions a full length album on Worm Interface... is this out yet? Anyone heard it? A while ago, someone mentioned Bola being Darrell Fitton, I know who Gescom are, and the Freeform is by a guy called Simon Pyke (did he do anything else?), but I have no idea who made the Jega record. The distributors said it was one of the guys of Autechre, but they usually say stuff like that (if I would believe all the things they put on their faxes, I would have to file just about every Rephlex release under Aphex Twin :).... any clues? Thanks, Maarten onnow: Source Direct "The Crane"

Haven't heard it but it's been out for quite some time (saw a copy in a local shoppe some months ago). _Elastic Speakers_ is the title, and it's CD-only, I believe.... - Matthew

Yep,

Apparently it "kind of" exists, but has never been released, so don't fret.

Been out for ages, Worm Interface being the label closely connected with the Ambient Soho shop. As Matthew mentioned, it appears to be CD only, and is worthy of your attention if you like the Skam EP

Apart from Freeform stuff, including a forthcoming 4-tracker on WARP, I don't think so.

I think the numbering was deliberately misleading, anyway, that's not important. I don't know who Jega is, but his EP is F***ing brilliant. The last track has a weird rock beat with loads of orchestra samples superimposed on it. The melodic sensibility of some of the other tracks is brilliant. It bears some comparison to rephlex, and his influences are obviouslt Autechre and mu-ziq. This is someone we will here a lot more about very soon I am sure... Incidentally, if you speak to ambient soho in London, they own the worm interface label. You should be able to get the freeform album from them... I haven't heard the 'elastic speakers' album yet...
