Amazing coincidence, this. Said better half and I were lounging on the couch earlier, tuned into LA's only IDM radio show. We heard this killer tune and started nodding our hedz in unison to it. After a while I said "This is awesome! The sound of intelligence ... Warning: Brain At Work". Extremely well crafted, well thought out, interesting rhythms, the works. Chuffed. So I immediately call the station and ask who it was. "That was from Andrea Parker's ``Melodius Thunk'' 12" on Mo' Wax". (OK, OK, so maybe the better half can beat Andrea to the LP then (-: ) (Where can I find this record in L.A.? Tam, you talked to her recently, didn't you? Don't tell me I missed the two-day mid-week window where Aron's might have actually had one or two of them ... ) - Greg

Greg, I grabbed this gem the day it came out in San Diego at Asylum Funk...and then to my disbelief saw five copies of it at a damn Tower Record store about three weeks later. Try your local corporate record store, they'll probably have it. --Paul P.
