ha ha these people have lawyers i'm afraid here's some gossip ... mike p did a track with ornetter coleman samples recently he tried to clear the stuff but the lawyers asked for so much money that he had to scrap the whole project ... its a shame. Fuck yeah! I know it takes a lot to get MP away from the television in the evenings, but he should send O a tape of his mix, and see if he wants to get together. If Richard James can get to Philip Glass that way, what's to stop him. Actually I don't think Ornette Coleman even has a record deal right now. Hello friends, Ornette has his own label called Harmolodic distributed by verve, and he just released a quartet album on that label. He is one of my heros, whenever I need a little inspiration I listen to Ornette Coleman or I just total up all the bills that I have to pay in the next week(just joking...well...not really).
