Well, seems it is also high time to ask who this justin warfield is and does his album's worth it. I got one 12" with Dust Brothers remix (ok) and a David Holmes Remix (Amazing!) but never seen a full length around. snowjob@actcom.co.il The Morpheus Equation: Start + Middle + End = Sand

IMO, Justin Warfield's fairly bad. He does psychedelic lite rap, and I just can't get past his grating lyrics!!! I've heard the 12"s I think you're referring to, although I can't remember what they're called - ones got vocal mixes, and has a green/red filtered cover, and the other's got dubs (with a blue/purple filtered version of the same cover). The single - specifically the remixes - is a lot better than his album, which is called something about 'Justin Warfield's Field Trip'. I read an interview with the guy in which he'd just returned from visiting the grave of Jim Morrison (the Doors guy) - his greatest idol. Enough said, as far as I'm concerned - he's a pretensious fool. Justin Warfield has at least one full length out, called "My Field Trip To Planet 9" on Qwest/Reprise. Pretty interesting hip-hop stuff, not particularly IDM. I've heard some other singles, in various styles (even sorta coffeehouse-folky,) but I don't know what label or anything. He's always worth watching out for, though. -Phil [----------] [---] [-----] [-----] [-----] [----------] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [----------] [----------] [---] [---] [----------] [----------] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [--------] [-----] [-----] [---] [-----] [----------] Home is where the stereo is!
