The Leo Annibaldi album was supposed to be out by now though, but if they want to hold onto that so they can get us the new Caustic Window LP, I don't think anyone on IDM is going to complain much. Will there ever be a Rephlex tour [in the US]?

Finally had the guts to open up my Rephlex merchandise pack that I bought last weekend in london, the info on it was catalogue number: SHOP1 distributed by RTM/DISC....it's full of nice stuff, lots and lots of stickers, including hundreds of tiny little rephlex logo stickers for putting on your turntables etc... a couple of large rephlex posters (no not the one that came with Bradely's Robot), two badges, a car sticker, release schedule, and even more stickers :) Well, those'll keep me happy for a while, but like it says on the info sheet: "in about a month we will be sending you another package containing Rephlex CD & 12" dividers and some other exclusive fashion items to make you the envy of your friends!" So Rephlex is doing comedy nowadays are they?? What happened to doing it for the music?? Speaking of which, for other Aussie spotters, did anyone hear the beginning of Sqpshr's "Theme from Ernest Borgnine" being played as back- ground music on the ABC during Margaret Throsby's "What's on the ABC"? Surprised the hell out of me! I wanted to here the beats come in, but alas they didn't. :) Regards, John

Why does it seem these days that putting out a record on Rephlex is more about exposing your bottom out the window while you friend drives by a movie line, than actually putting out deeply thought-out electronic music? I mean, I dig this new Bodenstandig 2000 record... especially the track "Udo5," but it seems a bit, err... naff as far as longevity and musicality go.... BTW: Any connection between Bodenstandig and the Fantastische Vier? They seem to be just as goofy.... lyrically at least.... Aaron p.s. bd2000 make me miss my c64.

A recent post reminded me of some confusion I have with some of the rephlex releases. I have two records with blue and red labels with TB-303 and TR-606 in the run-out grooves. The discog at rephlex says this is universal indicator, but also in the runout grooves it says "the komsic kommando returns" or something like that. So, who and what are these eps?
