Is this that Gary Moschletes and the Badass Motherfunkers LP that Virgin said they would never release due to the fact that there were too many samples to clear? Good to hear his music has changed a bit as I was getting really bored with the last couple of records (Kid Spatula and In Pine Effect). Too similar to, and not half as good as the old Mu-Ziq stuff. -------------------------------------------------------

Can't wait... 'Global Chillage' was pretty smart stuff! Nice and relaxing. Soothe away those traumas of inner city life... <Kinesthesia>

I saw it on promo CD a week ago, but no proper release yet, as far as I can tell. It supposedly comes in nice white case. The LP version come on white vinyl too. I read on this very list that it was out in America already, as was the remix EP which has strangely dissapeared from the UK release schedule. Anyone out there seen this in England? <Plaid>

Its by the same guys who are in Plaid now, but was done when the were still part of Black Dog.

Me too. A rerelease is definately in order!

What was this? I've got Lilta (12") and the Repeats LP (both on the A13 label). <Nearly God>

Pretty good as far as the I Be The Prophet (by Starving Souls) and Poems (Nearly God) 12" go. I have the LP but haven't had chance to listen to it properly yet. The style is definately more minimal that Maxinquaye, and therefore might not be to everyones taste. <Children of the Bong>

I don't agree. 'Sirius Sounds' is okay dubby squidgyness, but is nowhere near the sonic inventiveness of MOM's LPs, or as funky as Wagon Christs 'Throbbing Pouch'. Arn't we due for a new Wagon Christ LP soon? Bye! GB.
