I presume you've had a look around hyperreal.com? If not you should - links and
info galore. Although things will be better still once Alan gets the reviews
pages up again. But the idm archives should be useful reading, as should the
results of the IDM polls of recent years.
As personal suggestions, you should try and pick up: Autechre's "Amber",
Aphex's Selected Ambient Works 85-92, Speedy J's "G-Spot" and WARP's Artificial
Intelligence 2 comp as your next steps into the idm world. I'm sure others
would have different ideas.
Other than that, keep reading the list for a while - you'll get the hang of
things.
