Last night(sat) on Rage, (our Australian weekend all-night music video program) The Tea Party were the guest programmers(choosing the videos to be played and the like). because it was the tea party i wasnt really watching it much and decided to watch a video that i taped from the tv a couple of days ago. an ad come on the video so i stopped to fast forward the ad and lo and behold on Rage at that particular moment aphex twin's 'On' started. talk about lucky! i didnt even know it had a video. i immediately said 'oh fuck, i gotta tape this' and just pressed record. the 'On' video is good, interesting with lots things moving rapidly throughout, with rdj walking around in old diving gear(you know those big old diving helmets), and there is a cardboard cut out of him as well. unfortunately it's too short at less than 4mins. it's on a beach with rocks that are the same type as on the'surfing on sine waves' cover. i know there is a video for ventolin and there is some stuff from saw2 on the warp video, but are there any more afx videos?? on another note has anyone bought any aphex twin merchandise lately? and if so could you tell me what is available and how much they are. i'll get a shirt and maybe a couple of badges. also could you mention how long it actually took to get to you. thanks. I remember reading somewhere that rdj was asked to appear during the filming of the video, but instead sent a cardboard cut-out. I guess that's Cornwall. But it is indeed a very good video.

Yes. There is a video of "Schottkey 7th path", which is on a K7 computer animation video. [The one with ambient trax]. It's quite blocky, [Amiga Dpaint stuff] but somewhat more organical & entertaining than those boring 3d raytracing graphics. "Ageisiopolis", which is on an english video compilation, I haven't seen this one for a while but I thought it was absolutely brilliant when I saw it. It was not "computergraphical"-like. It definetely got the feeling of the track on film, with desert/palmtree landscapes which were filmed in a blurry sort of red & blackish color. and there's one more: "Donkey Rhubarb" has one of the most bizarre video's you'll ever see: Richards face on the cover of Aphex's "I care because you do" is sticked on some GIANT fluffy pink/orange/purple (?) teddy bears which walk around playing and having fun.
