labeled techno. At what date precisely, it's hard to say Not hard at all. Techno came into existence in May 1988 when The Face reported on the electronic musicians from Detroit. This is the first time Techno was used to describe this style of music. Anything prior to this is electronic music. So strictly speaking Techno hasn't 'been around for ages'.

Huh? I don't think so. Both Cybotron's "Techno City" and Kraftwerk's "Techno Pop" predates that article. _____________________________ ~bleep~
