The 'UFO' track is quite good, and is one of the most stylistically varied tracks I've
ever heard (what's up with those funk loops 3/4 of the way through?)... It's almost so
varied as to become uncohesive, or even a mini-suite of jungle rather than a single
tune.
And as if it needs to be hyped any more - 'Conumber' rocks out in a way you've never
been rocked by d&b before (at least I'm not calling his work 'j**gle')...my brain is
still numb from listening to the title track (or rather, that always seems to be the
case...)
But in defense of RDJ, he does seem to have a sense of 'timbre dynamics' (whatever that
means) that many other artists don't have, i.e. tweaking the actual sounds and coming
up with original noises and effects. He still has a lead on sound design, but could
use a bit of improvement in terms of structure.
