Sorry to trot out my pet peeve here, but I figure some people will
probably learn something from this, so it won't be complete pedantry.
As a psychologist, I should point out that schizophrenia is not the same
as multiple personality disorder (now "dissociative identity disorder").
Symptoms associated with schizophrenia include paranoia, delusions (e.g.,
"hearing voices"), flat affect, and others, none of which is "multiple
personalities."
Symptoms of schizophrenia can definitely be accompanied by those of
dissociative identity disorder, but a diagnosis of schizophrenia does
not at all imply multiple personalities.
