potuznik's "20th door" ep on interdimensional transmission wasn't too shabby, and the vocal tracks on his "concorde+" album killed. i'm interested to hear his record on breakin' (an otherwise ghastly label). anybody have any impressions of this one? sc --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

The only other Potuznik/G.D.Luxxe stuff I've heard is the 12" on I-T and his track on the Oral-Olio compilation, and his Breakin' album "Submission" definately compares favorably to both of them. Loads of New Order/Joy Division influence and great songs. If you like "20th Door", you'll probably like this. i LOVED concorde+ and really liked the IT 12" -- but the breakin' release (GD LUXXE) was NOT all that. a bit too much retro going on -- and while i love the 80s sound being revisited, it needs not become a cheap imitation at this point. ahh well, chris. music for lunchpails . wednesdays 6-9pm . kuci 88.9fm . www.kuci.org it.s ok to like noise it.s okay to like house it.s okay to like pop _we are all lost --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
