hi all, I'm about to buy a comp with an AFX track from someome for 7$...I think it's pretty hard to find(well, I know it would be for me) , anyway, I want it, but I was wondering if it was any good, the track that is, its Only For The Headstrong II (thats the comp) Label: ffrreedom Tracks: Powerpill: Pac-Man (Heavy Mental Mix) that's the AFX track, is it good, any opinions? any opinions on this comp? just wondering... I'm going to buy it anyway. take care andy

That said, for 7 bucks I'd buy it anyway, if only for Egyptian Empire's "The Horn Track", which samples a classic Egyptian Lover track, and which sounds a heckuva lot more like AFX than the Powerpill thing. Word! I have the original Powerpill "Pac-Man" on a 12", and the "Heavy Mental Mix" is far more Velveeta-land than any of the mixes on the 12". And most of the rest of that comp. was boring/bland, from what I can remember. - Greg

Is the Heavy Mental Mix by Aphex or someone else? The Powerpill mix and the Ghost mix on the 12' are fucking brilliant (the other mixes by Choci and Micky Finn aren't so hot). The Heavy Mental Mix is actually the same exact thing as the Mickey Finn Yum Yum Mix on the original 12" and CD. Looks like you've got some Velveeta on that vinyl, as well! Andrew
