Yes, EV003 came out a while ago (and I can't believe Kent was lucky enough to find an original - the Evolution releases are like gold dust round these parts), but Radio is a more recent, and more dance-based release, on Universal Language, the new name for Evolution... BTW: could some kind person possibly post a discog for any post-EV007 releases, and the Universal Language stuff (Ben?)... And does anyone know the score about Herbert Part 4 (Herbert is Wishmountain and Dr Rockit)? I know parts 1-3 are coming out as a boxed set on April 29, but people like Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon have been charting part 4 and even Fat Cat don't know whether it's going to be released... see ya ____________________________________________________ tom churchill e-mail: tom@chrchfam.demon.co.uk 'each new hour holds new chances for new beginnings' dj/musician/clubber/reviewer......scene but not herd ____________________________________________________

Yeah, but EV003 was Reload's _Biosphere_ EP, not a Wishmountain release. That's why I'm confused about the whole shennanigans. ;)

Off the top of my head there's been four post-Antacid records: Wishmountain's EP, the Secret Ingredients 12" (Tom and Mark doing NYC-style hausmusik), The Horn's EP, and the Jedi Knights LP. - Matthew "I grew up thinking that techno music is actually something that you can't imagine. That is techno at its best. If you hear something that you'd never expect to hear - that's techno. If you hear something that kind of sounds like you've heard it before, then it's not techno." - Jeff Mills

Well I'll be a crossing guard with a 'kick me' sign on my ass! I MEANT EV0031 (It's that ding-danged .2 point type). Tracks appear to be Rose Welcome Radio Golf on Sunday Salad Tosser On Now: The same damn two bar flanged juno60+606 loop that's been running over and over for the last 20 minutes. I think I hear little cheesy gremlins speaking to me between the kick drums... Here's how I do basslines on the juno. 1. Set the sequencer to step record 2. hit keys at random, occasionally hitting 'tie' and 'rest' on the sequencer. 3. Listen to it. 4. If cool, record track. 5. If it sucks go to step 1. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Every revolution evaporates and leaves behind only the slime of a new beauracracy -- Franz Kafka Kent Williams kent@inav.net (319) 338 6053 (home) (319) 626 6700 x 219 (work) (319) 626 3489 (fax)
