Wow ... My head reels after that post from Grant ... Okay, in anticipation of him getting pissed off, I apologize in advance. 1) I made a one-off cd of the Caustic Window tracks ... you could do the same ... if Rephlex ever release anything like this, I'll be sure to buy it, too. I made the cd just for the sake of being able to listen to the tracks while in the car, riding the subway, or running madly away from the police (with anti-skip on, of course). 2) As I posted some time ago, I'd love to see the u-Ziq and Rich/Mike cd's released right away ... but, I'm just as happy getting the releases that we've been waiting even longer for. What I'm wondering, though, is if Rephlex has suddenly come into a large pile of cash. Why am I wondering? ... full page ad in Muzik, lots of releases in the past few months, and that beautiful cover on the Lisa Carbon cd and lp. Just seems a bit wierd. 3) Did anyone see those quotes from Luke Vibert in the Feb 15-28 issue of DJ magazine? If not ... ... After a few releases on Rephlex he became increasingly impatient with their huge backlog of unreleased material and eventually signed to Caspar Pound's Rising High. I ask him if he has any plans to record for them in the future. "If they sort themselves out..." is the abrupt answer. "At the moment if I gave them something it would probably come out in 2038." ... eeek. 4) Gotta love that Kinesthesia remix 12". Ian (floe:MaddogMgmt.) >> Toronto'Ontario
