Let me start of by saying that the volume of "sales" especially
commercial on this list is quite small, respectful of the intent of the
list, and really not a problem. We have very little to complain about.
(Those that have complained have noted this as well.)
However, there ARE places to advertise your store (no matter how
desparate we are for tracks and limited editions!) on the net other than
via an email list. The rotator locator is excellent in principal and having
a dedicated company website works lovely as well.
Now I'll contradict myself again:
How come we complain when it comes to "conventional" type advertising a
la "here's my stores stuff and here's how to pay" but we DON'T get riled up
when a label ADVERTISES a tour, rave, event, etc. Are we being too
inconsistent????
Its probably not broke so lets not fix it yet.
