Ear/Rational had it. It was a pricey import, but the reason I was asking about "Blue Room" label is that I saw an ad for it in my latest issue of "Next Generation". They said all "Blue Room" releases were available at tower. I would assume that means domestic now. It is the new full-length, and it is awesome. Imagine "Transmissions" with intros via "Luciana".

me have it now and me think... although it's good, it's not quite as good as "transmissions", although the first track ("guardian angel") is pretty amazing. hopefully it will grow on me. -- Name: Jon Email: jsd@cyborganic.com Web: http://www.cyborganic.com/People/jsd

My best recommendation to you would be to find "Luciana", the second release on Inter-Modo. Phenomenal, and if you're trying to simulate darkness, on a black dreary night, with the lights turned out, with a bucket over your head, this is the album to buy. I love it. Even if it _is_ 60 minutes, one track. Horsepower lammers@tc.msu.edu

Track 3 on the Juno Reactor release _Bible of Dreams_ "God is God" has to be one of the coolest, most interesting, most driving tracks I've heard in a while. While this whole CD thrills me, this track catches my ear due to the somewhat-unusual latin rhythems... I'm wondering if there was ever a 12" release of this and if the mixes were any good if so (it seems like *such* an excellent candidate for remixing, as the original is so cool and I'd love to see what other artists could throw into the already-awesome cauldron) ... also wondering if anyone can think of any other latin-rhythem based tracks. Tnx... grey

To me, the most impressive, refreshing Atom Heart record in a good long time.

Sounds like a bunch of leftovers, despite a few standout tracks. If the archives work, I posted reviews a few weeks ago. You might also look into Yello. Probably you know them from "Oh Yeah", which is a good example of what they're about. Many of their songs have a Latin feel. Not IDM, though, rather highly unusual "pop". Often I get the sense of a suave, debonair gentleman in a tuxedo, but also with a big, red clown nose. _80-85 The New Mix in One Go_ is a great comp that is really an album to itself (import-only in the US; lots of overlap with _Stella_ but different mixes throughout). _Essential Yello_ offers a decent overview but instead I'd suggest any of the earlier albums. The first album, _Solid Pleasure_ is excellent but most of the Latin elements don't come into play until _Claro Que Si_ and after. The more recent albums, _Baby_, _Zebra_ and _Pocket Universe_ are solid and very well-produced, but the increasingly techno-oriented sound is less distinctive. --Mark
