I love it! The perfect antidote to the gobs of Chain Reaction-like stuff I've been consuming lately. Lotsa bang and clank and crunch. Heavy beats. Noise bursts. Heavy DSP wankery (and I mean that in a *good* way). And it holds together pretty well as an album, not just random compilation. But if you want melodic eye-dee-emm, look elsewhere... -Ed --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

i seriously do think the brothomStates is the most melodic, most lush and best-sounding track on the compilation. hands down.

2000-01-30 23:28MxyzptlkEven Esa's track (Lackluster)? I kinda figured his would be the melodic input in the fray.

Even Esa's track (Lackluster)? I kinda figured his would be the melodic input in the fray. jeff Ed Hall wrote:

Well, yeah, the Lackluster and brothomStates tracks lower the temperature a bit, and have some nice, Autechreian melodic content. And the Cex track is darkly melodic 'twixt the noise bursts and beats. But if you're desirous of melody, this probably isn't the compilation for you. -Ed --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
