Did anyone from england catch the Stacey Pullen `essential mix` on Radio 1 FM last night? If so what did you think? Personally I thought the first half hour was a little housey but when the Chicago/Detroit stuff started in the second half hour it got a lot better. The second hour was best I thought with more pure Techno and Acid stuff. It`s about time Radio 1 got off their commercial arses and played more IDM, with only John Peel playing IDM occasionally and Pete Tong firmly in Handbag territory they could do with a Techno/IDM show . Stealing Colin Dale from Kiss 100FM would be nice, I can`t pick it up down here in Southampton.

I listened to the first half hour and was put off listening to the rest. Periodically I tuned back in, but it all seemed a bit too vocal-orientated for my taste. Aren't there any pirates in your area? A new one seemed to appear in Sheffield just last night. Adam
