AGCG said was much in an interview - he said that _Voodoo Ray_ was him trying to replicate that Detroit sound but kind of screwing it up. Brilliant track - pretty formative for me. "Ayyy-a-ha..."

with regards to "Pacific State", i have the quadrastate ep but i also have an older compilation (name eludes me) which has the *exact* same track, "pacific state" but it is credited to Go No Go. is this a pre 808-state moniker for the same group or what is the deal? -- Mark Bowen mb@gettins.bche.uic.edu
