I don't know if James Skilton mentioned this to anyone, but I just bought the latest issue of Jockey Slut & noticed a familiar name on a picture of the guy who was let loose on a spree at Warp...It was (surprise!) James Skilton. Congrats, guy! Anyway, I just thought that i'd let everyone know that the latest issue of Muzik(Feb. 95) has expanded to include a TRANCE section, as well as a really good article on Goa(the state, not the music...), and some exceptional reviews from LFO. Some damn fine journalism from the Muzik staff. Kudos. For LFO trainspotters, there is also a tracklisting of the ADVANCE album in there, as well as the tracks from this TRUE PEOPLE:DETROIT TECHNO album. Oh, and in Jockey Slut, a really good article on Chris & Cosey, too. btw, all my mixtapes lists were sent out as of today, if you didn't get one by next week, or want one, let me know by private email. Derek ps. I also want to let everyone know i'm now in love with Andrea Parker, anyone have her phone number? I can't remain silent any longer!!!! I absolutely love "Angular Art", and "Melodious Thunk". Move over, Saskia Slegers, I have a new lady in my life now!!!!

Did you happen to notice if the gergeous LFO track on TEX4 is part of Advance? It's surprisingly Orbish, but it's also a hell of a track.

No. 'helen' wasn't part of it, just the previously released 'tied up', as you probably know... Derek

"Slow Down Speedy", right? Cool -- that _is_ a great track. -d.w.

"Slow Down Speedy" is on one of the Volumes, and on the best of Volume comp. The track on TEX4 is called "Helen" and is stunning. Neither is on "Advance". J ^ _ _ __ __ __ __ ____ __ __ the ( `'`' / /. \ |. ) |. ) ( ( /_ _| /. ) |. ) \_/\_/ (__\_| |__\ |_| |__) /_| \___| |__\
