here's some stuff I forgot when I last posted. ------------------------------------------ Plaid are touring Australia/Asia with Bjork!!! Lucky bastards. Oh and a bit of a mini tour of the uk first. Dates & Venues: 19 Jan Sheffield - Arena 20 Jan Manchester - G-MEX 22 Jan Bournemouth - International Centre 25 Jan London - Wembley Arena 31 Jan Tokyo - Garden Hall 01 Feb Tokyo - Garden Hall 04 Feb Tokyo - Budokan 05 Feb Nagoya - Kinro Kalken 07 Feb Fukuoka - Denki Hall 09 Feb Osaka - IMP 10 Feb Osaka - IMP 13 Feb Beijing - International Theatre 15 Feb Hong Kong - Queen Elizabeth Stadium 16 Feb Hong Kong - Queen Elizabeth Stadium 21 Feb Bangkok - MBK Hall 23 Feb Singapore - Zook Club 24 Feb Singapore - Zook Club 28 Feb Christchurch - Town Hall 01 Mar Wellington - Events Centre 02 Mar Auckland - Super Top 05 Mar Sydney - Horden Pavilion 06 Mar Sydney - Horden Pavilion 07 Mar Canberra - [TBC] 09 Mar Brisbane - Festival Hall 11 Mar Adelaide - Entertainment Centre 12 Mar Melbourne - MEC 15 Mar Perth - Belvoir Amphitheatre [TBC] 16 Mar Perth - Belvoir Amphitheatre Good luck to 'em on their first (of many? :) stadium tour! And I hope all you Aussie "we never get any good techno in australia" whingers make the most of it. I don't think Plaid have done a 4 date tour of the uk, never mind 9! And you get to drool over bjork too :( ---------------------------------------- Autechre have recently remixed Nav Katze (who seem to have acquired a taste for uk techno remixes) and a British band called 'Lamb'. They have an extensive tour of USA & Canada planned for March, supported by Space Time Continuum and Mark Broom on the decks. Gescom's _Motor EP_ on Source records is due at the end of Jan. And by all accounts it's "acidy dancefloor material". I haven't heard it yet, but you'll be the first to know! ----------------------------------------- Red Snapper's 2nd album for Warp _Prince Blimey_ is due later this spring... ----------------------------------------- Coming soon? heh, we have to have some secrets :) but get ready for some interesting new names new to warp, and some interesting old names new to warp. g3 & C. g The WARP Web Site 3 0 3 http://www.inta.net/~g303/warp/

Strange, i already got it in 95 and the copyright is even 94. I like this record. Some tracks are indeed "acidy dancefloor material". It sounds a bit like a cross between Population One's 'Live In Detroit Vol.2" and Autechre of course. The track titles are Motor1 to Motor4. A quick look: Motor1 is an electro-influenced track, Motor2 is a dark minimal techno track as is Motor3. Motor4 is basically a slow version of Motor3 and the most Autechre sounding one of the lot. Not Booth & Brown's best record, but still very enjoyable. <SHAMELESS PLUG> Btw, anyone interested in our (= TV-99-AD) music should check out our web site -> http://www.xs4all.nl/~tv99ad/tv99ad.html The site's not really much at the moment, but i added some soundbytes of our tracks from the Eevo Lute CD "Assembled 014/015" last week. More to come soon. </SHAMELESS PLUG> Cheers, Hans ____ _ _ ___ ___ __ ____ (_ _)( \/ )___ / _ \/ _ \ ___ /__\ ( _ \ Hans Veneman )( \ /(___)\_ /\_ /(___)/(__)\ )(_) ) tv99ad@xs4all.nl (__) \/ (_/ (_/ (__)(__)(____/ +31(0)320 235266 http://www.xs4all.nl/~tv99ad --------------------------------->
