hey, to whoever was asking about md - he's just about to move from Helsinki to London, and his album "Between Gaps" is all done and awaiting proper CD release on Monotonik. There will be excerpts and at least one full track for mp3 download when the album finally comes out, but distribution issues are delaying us right now. His older stuff is pretty neat - cf: http://www.fm.org/appelsap/ (fully downloadable mp3 album) ..but his new stuff even better, imho. If we don't release it soon I may have to garotte myself with piano wire. regards, h0l. ps - does anyone else think that Tom Jenkinson Worm Interface release ("Bubble/Squeak", isn't it?) is almost the best stuff he's done? I heard it recently and thought it was amazing. I guess there's the whole "Vic Acid" vs. "Music Is Rotted One Note" school of Squarepusher-lovers, and I'm fully in the former group! ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

to me it just sounded like neat left-over tracks from port rhombus ep.. the same style the same sound. pretty neat tho. of course the 128kbps mp3s did not do justice to all those bright hihats & it sounded very boggy. anyway, right. does anyone think "samurai math beats" is better than "boku mo wakaran"? it seemed to be less tongue-in-cheek.. less messy. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I sold my copy of bubble&squeak. I kept my "Demon Disc 2" disc, but bubble&squeak never really did it for me. Not quite sure why. Too jazzy? Go figure.
