"Never mind the distortion" by Nav Katze to be exact.

SSR is based in Belgium, and is a sublabel of Crammed Discs. (Former home of Bel Canto.) The Reload-mix is pure IDM-brilliance and the Global Communication-mix is very good as well. (Chilled, of course.) Christian

For me, the reload remix is the only track which gives me a reason to leave my dancing spot or armchair in order to press the skip button. From all the white boys of techno, Pritchard and middleton are the ones that most dissapointed me on all occasions. The Theory of Evolution had it's moments, especially I liked the heavy electro tracks, but until now, all Link jungle tracks, Global Com texture ambient and Reloads 'idm' left me realy down. For trade on CD - Global Communication - Global remotion (Remix album) snow X----------------------------------------------------X snowjob@actcom.co.il | It's a kinda SnowJob, And the wind's still blowing.| | It's a kinda snowjob, Keep yer smileys On. | X----------------------------------------------------X AT YER SERVICE !!!!

Have you listened recently to "76:14" by Global Communication? Just listen to the first two tracks--I think you will find that although they are not as warm and fuzzy as Aphex's SAW vII, they are just as ambient and wonderfully pleasing to the mind. Unfortunately the single from the album, "Maiden Voyage (8:07>>5:23)", did not do the rest of the album justice. For Trade: US advance promotional CD for u-ziq's "In Pine Effect." It lists all the tracks on the front cover over the pine effect record player and lists the release date (10/24/95) on the cover and the CD. I am looking for mostly Aphex related stuff.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This is certainly the first time I've heard anyone describe SAWII this way. It's cold in those grooves.
