Anybody having trouble finding any of the two Hangable Auto bulb 12"s? Give me a shout & I'll help you out as the local shops here have loads left. Here go some extremely short Reviews..... *** Hangable Auto Bulb 2 : Ok, but not as good as the first Plug 3 : Magic; get it if you like any form of Jungle "Pacman" by Powerpill : just rubbing it in! I just found this to complete my collection, ruff but old breakbeat from 92. Josh Wink : Higher State Of Consciousness : Buy this while you still can, serious hedphuq acid over cool beats. Kid Spatula : Don't want to offend anyone, but I thought this was like Tango 'n' Vectif without the good bits. It's not even as good as Pine Effect which I thought was more miss than hit.... Dr Rockit : Ready To Rockit : I'm sure this is the Wishmountain guy Herbert. I don't know how old it is but it *rocks*! One ace jungle track, the rest characteristic Wishmountain resonant body sounds! Blech mixtape : YES! YES! YES! Well done to the lads who mixed this one; it has finally brought me round to Autechre. Personal fave is the old rap song but not a duffer in sight on this comp. PLUS the also-sampled-by-MBM-Dark-Star-exploding-bomb bit. Ace! Matt: I agree that this is a great tune but not I don't agree with your sense of urgency. In Canada this track is on every crap dance compilation beside Macarenna and the remix of Stayin' Alive. In other words local shops have 100 copies on the wall at any given time of the week. I'm surprised Josh Wink sold the rights to this song to Quality records. Interestingly the track is by WINX not Josh Wink....that may have been a condidtion of releasing the track to Quality. Of course if you want to get a pressing on vinyl...be quick!

Ah yes, Winnipeg will be known for two things, Quality records and the Crash Test Dummies, how embarrassing. Please, lets not bring up Quality again.
