I think the Up-coming releases idea...Giving people release dates and labels is a very good idea, often you hear about things supossedly being released and then a maybe info like the month it'll probably be available, nothing really definate. The only problem I can see is where exactly they're supposed to be released, Don't you just hate it when you find out there's a release but it's on the other side of the Atlantic and you might be able to get an import a couple of months later. The list I got, mentioned a dbl CD called True People:The Detroit Techno Album on Janurary 29th, in the UK, its on Resource records and will be available as a 5*12" pack as well, apparently they'll be un-released stuff from Juan Atkins as well as a whole star cast. Thanks for the info on the list and keep it up.

Hmm... there seems to be a rash of Detroit comps coming out. There's the comp coming out on React sometime next month (a whole bunch of guys who are going to be on it went to dinner with a crew from Muzik magazine to publicize the thing on Sunday night). It's supposed to have some previously unreleased Derrick May material, plus tracks from Juan Atkins, Claude Young, Shake, Acid Pimp, and a bunch of other people I can't quite think of right now. Actually it's on React. <grin> The 5x12" pack looks grerat.
