Well I bought this Trance Injection double cd off someone quite some time ago and never really listened to the second disc for some reason. (Actually the reason was I got In Order to Dance 5 at the same time.) Anyway so I am making my twice-yearly search through forgotten old samplers to find cool lil treasures I was not hip to at the time, and here I find some seriously cool Fax shit, a Dreamfish song (Madre de Dios) and some Escape 3. So what I want to ask is what items of interest (if any) are on other Rising High or Instinct comps? Are any other Dreamfish tracks available anyplace other than the proper albums? "School of Fish" is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard. Sorry if these are dipshit questions but it's been a long time since I was into the type of stuff Rising High puts out. Thanks, e

Hey, why didn't you tell everyone who you are? I'm about to post my bio RIGHT NOW! Has this list absolutely gone to hell or what? It's an idiot fest. I'd start my own damned list if I could. It would take at least another week or two for everyone to jump on that bandwagon. Anyway, back to our topic: I thought I was about the only person on this list who appreciates the old stuff, especially FAX. I've done a lot of re-listening to my collection and found some absolute gems I never noticed. What, was I stupid?! As for the FAX stuff, it's really hard to find stuff by them. Namlook doesn't do anything for Rising High anymore. Supposedly he got mad because they filtered out too much bass. He doesn't really put out the melodic, trancy or hard stuff anymore. The only thing I can find from him now is REALLY ambient stuff. In the past year, I've ran across a total of 5 trancy discs by the guy. And I looked high and low. You know what you can try, though, is OM by Tetsu Inoue. This one is on MicMac/ C&S and you can find it everywhere, even at Best Buy. It's AWESOME. I hear the stuff he did on FAX was just as incredible too, but I haven't seen it yet. Besides, I can't really afford to pay 25 bucks for single CDs these days. But check it out though. You might also want to check out some stuff by Oliver Lieb. He's great. He is Spicelab, LSG and Ambush. Ambush is really excellent tribal drum extravaganzas. LSG is a lot like the melodic, hypnotic Namlook stuff, if not better. Spicelab is really hypnotic, spacey HARD trance. Excellent. Hope you like. Mistress ov Maturity

I picked up the 3 track CD single, and was incredibly disappointed with what I heard of the OM material. I'm a big fan of the early Namlook hardtrance (Limelight and Deltraxx are still in rotation) but I found the OM material to be too cheesy for it's own good. Picture clubland trance with the lush melody that Inoue always brings to his music. It doesn't quite sync...then again, I haven't heard the album.
