brothom is the man. :) his is one of the many solid tracks on the penguin mechanics comp that just came out on kracfive (www.kracfive.com) . Great work by all involved.. + some good non-idm stuff i've been listening to recently includes.. fila brazilla, method man/redman, ennio morricone, tool, antonio carlos jobim. tool! if more people actually *listened* to this band rather than instantly dismissing them, maybe they would get the respect they deserve. there's gotta be some more tool fans on this list, eh? speak up! some recent, good electronic stuff i've been listening to includes.. ummm .. marumari. freeform. matmos is the future of techno! ;) sorry to see you go david turgeon, guess you're not reading this though huh. noah --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Yea, I'd have to say Tool is to Metal what Aphex Twin is to dance... All of their stuff is splendid.

I still can't seem to get as into Matmos as everybody else... Maybe I'm listening to the wrong stuff... I've seen 'em live and it was rockin, but I dunno. -- :: atomly :: atomly@atomly.com | atomly@atdot.org | atomly@cyrus.net http://www.atomly.com | http://www.mp3.com/atomly [CELL|(888)522.3830] | [CELL|(701)729.1631] | [HOME|(651)748.8676] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I'm not a huge fan of them, but I've heard Robert Fripp is, and that they (King Crimson) actually practice along with Undertow... so I'd kind of expect an interesting sound on the next Crimson cd. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
