From NME, 18 November 1995:
Orbital's fourth album will be released by March next year, according to
Paul Hartnoll.
Despite reports to the contrary, Hartnoll said 'Halcyon' will not be reworked
for the album, which is, as yet, untitled -- and possibly never will be --
and also that it doesn't feature on the soundtrack for the film _Johnny
Mnemonic_. However, it does appear on the soundtracks of _Hackers_ and
_Mortal Kombat_. 'Sad But True', taken from the acclaimed 'Snivilisation'
album, does appear on the _Johnny Mnemonic_ soundtrack.
Orbital also contributed a track, 'Petrol', to the Sony PlayStation game
_Wipeout_, which is available on the compilation album from the game.
Hartnoll dismissed reports that Orbital were angry that they were the only
people who had contributed an exclusive track to the game.
"I was surprised and just a little disappointed," he told NME. "But at the
end of the day, we enjoyed doing it and it's a good track. I was more
annoyed that they got the name wrong in the credits; they said it was
'Wipeout' by Orbital, but the track is called 'Petrol', but that's always the
way with film and game companies."
The duo are halfway through work on the next album.
"It's hard to know what it's going to sound like," he said. "When we made
'Snivilisation', the last track we recorded was 'Are We Here?' which changed
the whole overall feel. The new stuff seems to be following from that."
