IMHO it's pretty weak.. just as the Silent Phase album is.. It is too much of too plastic techno.. Think Transmat should have stopped in 1990. Just after the release of The Beginning. After that they (he was) were with Beltram indirectly responsible to the bunch of craps which came out since then.. I mean Energy Flash and Der Klang are not bad but they just _are not_ Transmat.. Just as the Fragiles aren't the fragiles anymore.. I can't believe you would try to say they newest are as good as the BFC, Fade II Black and the Reese one.. It's something like Pink Floyd.. Please take The Beatles for example.. And with indirect responsibilty I mean Energy Flash, also with Cubik and Total Confusion and the first Cybersonik one.. What came after that? 'Anasthasia', and then 'James Brown is dead' and after that lots and lots more.. It made 'our' music very, very commercial.. I don't know about this one, Peel. I mean, wasn't 'Energy Flash' more of a reaction to ravey, cheeze-techno than an impetus for it? It's just so dark and raw...I really don't see how it could possibly be responsible for 2 Unlimited/L.A. Style/Smart E's kinda stuff, ya know? - Matthew
