Ken iishi latest Album 'Jelly Tones' came out in the UK on Monday. It's called 'Jelltytones' and comes in the format CD or dbl 12", probably cassette as well. It features nine tracks, including a full length version of 'Extra' his last single. The Record company is R&S, and as far as I know no cd Rom was dispatched with the CD version. I'm not sure, but, some of the vinyl might be limited, coloured vinyl or something, it might however be just be a rumour. The cover is a manga-esque drawing, like that of the Extra video, it probably came from there. Sorry that's all I know. NICK.

Don't think so - R&S usually advertise their coloured vinyl releases and there was no mention in the music press ads. My copy is black vinyl and the shop I got it from normally stocks the coloured vinyl versions...

Yup - gorgeous packaging; each record sleeve features lots of cell reprints from the video. Looks excellent.

It's pretty good too - not really listened to it much though because I got _Relics_ at the same time. From what I've heard though, I thought it sounded vaguely like The Black Dog but harder and on a techno tip. _Extra_ is the standout, but _Stretch_ and the gorgeous ambience of _Endless Season_ rival it closely. It's quite a unique sounding LP - maybe a bit dislocated in parts but as I've not really listened to it yet, it's impossible to say. I'll post a review in a bit. || [CiM] || s.walley@uea.ac.uk || http://www.sys.uea.ac.uk/~u9323899/
