(Sorry about the x-post, but when it comes to groups like these I really don't know who're the best people to ask) Anyone know if the Japanese group Tanzmuzik has a full-length out? Their contributions to the Rising High comps have been really getting to me. Thankz, Azhok

TANZMUZIK is an excellent album, Ashok! I did review it some months ago, and i'll be more than happy to include a sample of all the tracks in the next few weeks when I send my mixtapes list out to you. Oh, stay far, far, far away from M-age UNDER A CUBIC SKY! Godawful remixes from the Rising High Crew, and only one track stands out, 'Sample Return'. That's it. The rest is connect-the-dots ambient/vocal textures. It's played out! Derek Jordan

Yes they do. I believe it's called "Sinseki." I have it at home so I can't give you the specifics at the moment. It was released earlier this year on Rising High. Another Japaneese electronic music release along the sames lines as Tanzmuzik is by an artist called M-Age. The CD is called "Under A Cubic Sky" and was also released on Rising High earlier this year. I haven't listened to either of these cds for a few months now, so any reviews would be inacurate right now. I'll give them another listen tonight and get back to you.
