The new online record store Bent Crayon comes through again! This week I picked up the following quality releases: * dave angel - tales of the unexpected (blunted) - 10 tracks of breathtaking detroit techno. * electronic eye - the idea of justice (beyond) - Richard Kirk again weaves 9 tracks of his ethno-techno magic. * dj food - a recipe for disaster (ninja tune) - ? of the coldcut duo cooking up great ambient, trip hop & jungle. * skylab - oh! skylab (l'attitude) - tosh, kudo & howie b with a tasty remix 5 track ep. * the electric family - Mariopaint (irdial) - 8 incredibly good tracks all done entirely with a Nintendo game! * nine - whutcha want remixes (profile) - mix the voice of cypress hill with the music of portishead. Cool! * tricky - pumpkin (4th & b'way) - four tracker of massivish music with a Reese jungle mix too! Nothing better than a good day at the record store (well almost nothing). Take care! Dearest Paddy, You are way off line. There have also been three or four other people who have posted to this list about the merits of "Bent Crayon." And because I belong to the same on-line service as the owner doesn't mean I am the owner under a different name or I'm the owner's best friend. Does everybody who has the "aol.com" extension added to there e-mail address know each other? Or are they secretly the same person?
