Hi it's Nick, I've just got a few queries today that if anyone can help me please e-mail me. 1) I really like the Modus Vivendi track, and there's a navarre track under the pseudoname Deepside on the X-Mix2 mix album, which is also out of this world-well good anyway. So would it be more likely that if I would like the FNAC comp vol 1 as opposed to the St.Germain stuff-ie Boulevard. if anyone could kinda review the latter I would be pleased. 2) Thanks so far on the information about Japanese techno, it all sounds very cool, i'm sure i'll have to locate some more damn soon. However, does anyone know of any particular underground Japanese labels, and comps that are likely to be available in the U.K. or attainable in some way? That's all the questions over with so for a little chat. I really like the latest Autechre single. Especially the last track. I didn't much like garbage when it came out, because it seemed really ambient, and at that particular stage i was solely into beats, rhythems. I have since listened to garbage, and appreciate it a little more, but compared with the anti ep and the latest stuff, i think it pails into insignificance. I liked the first album loads, but i remember having to listen to it a few times before i realised that it was top notch stuff. Surprisingly it took me longer to really get into amber. I still think that amber has got some bad points to it, it does lack (in my opinion) some of the faster, crunching tracks, dare i say basscadet-esque. I'm therefore looking forward to tri repetae to forfill the best parts of both albums. Anyway sight for the week is http://eye-q.com The eye q, harthouse and recycle or die sights. Discography of Oliver Lieb would be appreciated. yours Nick.
