Hildenbeutel. Is it just me, or was that astral pilot album hyped to be really good, and then turned out to be a load of crap?? I just can't seem to get into it.

Yeah, if you have time, a trip through the dreaded portals of Virgin and HMV can often yield surprising results, because no-one in their right minds would think of buying their stuff from there, which sometimes leaves hidden gems for those wot know. Just don't let anyone you know see you walking out of the front door.

Me too - went through it a few weeks ago - some great bargains. Got that red vinyl one too - they must have quite a few copies - run out and get it or phone them up (They do mail order). Agreed on the level of staff intelligence - but the bloke in charge of stock definitely knows what he is buying. Sister ray and selectadisc are definitely the cheapest around for most things - so check there first B4 you spend a fortune in the kewler places.

Hmm. I'm sure I've heard it before somewhere too. And I don't watch films. Reminds me of some wagon christ tunes.

Well, actually Ralph wasn't on the Astral Pilot LP, That one was a Vath/Stevie B. Zet collaboration, as far as I know anyway. I don't think it really sucked, I kind of liked the mood. Anyway, Vath apparently is too dense to learn the machines himself or something and relies on other people to twiddle the knobs while he plays some sort of role as an aesthetic supervisor. Whatever. --->13013
