Add this to the "bargain-bin finds" file! I found LFO - Frequencies at the local used CD store for a mere $5. I figured it was on WARP so it couldn't be that bad, right? Wow! What a great album, and from 1991 too. Sure there are a lot of video-game noises (and is that really a problem?!) but their rhythm tracks and overall catchiness more than make up for the occassionally cheesy bits. Are there any other old-sk00l IDM classics I'm missing I wonder? No-one's mentioned this, but Bjork's still on tour, now with Goldie. They're coming to Chicago and Minneapolis at least. Can't wait! I've also got a few CDs for sale ($1 + $1/disc S&H): $5 Spring Heel Jack - Oceola / Double Edge $8 Wagon Christ - Throbbing Pouch $3 Underworld - Dirty Epic / Cowgirl $5 James Bernard - Atmospherics $4 Murk - The Singles Collection $8 V/A - Transmissions from the Planet Dog (demo in cardboard sleaves) -- Chris

Damn! So that's where the CDs I lent out are! Seriously, you'd think a friend would give you "first in time" privelages with a sale...esp. one w/ Wagon Christ and Spring Heel Jack...=) -khannan
