I was wasting time at Best Buy today and ran across something called _Faith, Hope and Clarity_ by the Reese Project. Since it was recorded at KMS Studios for KMS Productions in Detroit, I assumed it was Kevin "Reese" Saunderson, and I wasn't wrong. Pretty good techno/house/diva stuff, really, and for $5 it was a steal. I think it's going to take me quite a while to fill in any kind of back catalog of sorts for the "Detroit" sound, but I'm going to keep trying. :-) Also found the soundtrack to _The Gate to the Mind's Eye_ by Thomas Dolby for $5. Haven't listened to it yet. My steal of the week has been the Nav Katze Never Mind The Distortion record for $8. Delicious. Also found a nice cheesy Popcorn 12" by the M&H band this morning for $1.. :: Alan M. Parry :: fluid@hyperreal.com :: <finger me for PGP key> :: http://hyperreal.com/~fluid
