I just saw a commercial on the local PBS TV station for the Rock Hall
of Fame History of Rock'N'Roll series. As collages of rock photos
flashed across the screen names of different genres of music scrolled
across in the background - techno being on of the first three shown.
Others genres mentioned were reggae, funk, country, etc.
Since this program was supposedly done by the Rock Hall of Fame. Does
this mean that there will be a techno section soon? If so, who would
the Rock Hall dignitaries consider as techno hall of famers? Kraftwerk?
Derrick May? Moby (joke)?
Just wondering...
