Well, I picked up a copy of the comp yesterday. It came as a boxed set of 5 pieces o' wax. The selection of tracks is *excellent*. The pressing though, sucks the big one. Its pressed very low. very low. But heck, I can still spin it back to back with the originals, right? (i have to rationalize this purchase for myseld somehow.) If you spin and you are looking for these as backups to originals, the box set is okay. If you spin and you do not have any of these, dont get it cause the pressing blows. If you are a CD phreak then this shit's the bomb. Previously unreleased tracks do appear here, but they arent mind-boggling. What I am saying is that if you have most of these cuts on vinyl or cd, its probably not worth spending another 40 for this box set just for the extra tracks. sasha

Did anyone else get the ltd(?) 5x12'' copy of In Order To Dance 5? If so, i'd appreciate some thoughts or comments...I was reluctant to spend as much as I did on the box set, but I figured what the hell! We're talking about R&S here for goaness sake! I was very lucky with this one, I got the last copy in Birmingham last Autumn for about UKP11.99, damn good value! With tracks like Teste's "The Wipe" (a much better version imo than on the Technovisions compilation), Phylyps Trak, 2 from Speed Jack, also Mu Ziq, AFX and god knows how many more, this is a superb comp, even if it came without the excellent pressing quality and lush packaging. I believe there was a very limited edition "light box" pack, probably about 50 made. I never saw it but Sister Ray advertised it for about 100 pounds back then, presumably actually including some chunks of light green perspex and bit of wire, bulbs etc. J ^ __________ ________.__/_____ _||_/ James Skilton aka Steady J _[]/_____________[.__\____-_ DJ and Party Animal | | Part Time Hedonist |____________________________| Full Time Technohead |__|-' '-|__| Steady-J@Firefox.co.uk
