apparently scanner's management nailed her 'cuz the sample wasn't adequately cleared. i'm not sure whether they decided to pay up or yank the sample, but i just found it kind of ironic that scanner, master of public domain melodrama, would press for royalty clearance. I'd use slightly stronger language than that. Considering the nature of Scanner's recorded output, I'd say this action is hypocritical and pathetic. Tony

Last I heard Scanner gave Bjork the sample for free. Probably all he wanted was the publicity.
