Well, to the best of my knowledge *the* Scottish techno/house labels are
Soma Quality Recordings and their sublabel Fifth Freedom. As far as DJs,
Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle (who record under the name Slam) are
excellent DJs in their own right and do a weekly that attracts other top-notch
techno DJs. In addition, I believe Detroit's own Claude Young recently
took up full-time residence there, so there's your 313 connection... :)
