Anyone wonder or care (as I do?:-) about the sample towards the beginning of the first track? About stairwells being secured.... makes me think a lot of Silence of the Lambs when Dr. Lector escapes from custody..... BTW, this is a great CD! JG John C.S. i think those are quotes from one of the moon landings, actually. i was watching "for all mankind" (the source of just about all the astronaut samples in techno/ambient music) just before i got "day on our planet" and the sample sounded awfully familiar. interestingly enough, almost all the other samples ("two to the power of 100000:1 against and falling", "please enjoy your day on this planet") are from the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.

i wouldn't say "great", but it is at least "pretty good". i was pleasantly surprised. the title track is especially good. i do find that mr. leib tends to slip into some really lame melodies though, he's much better at the abstract non-melodic stuff.
