i just got the chemical brothers "leave home" single... it is completely awesome. original mix - fat bass, drums reminiscent of their republica remix, funky guitars... kind of a 70's rock meets 90's dance thing, actually. surprisingly fun. underworld mix one - completely wicked psychotic drum breaks, kinda like "born slippy". lots of whine noises and manic bleeping synths. freaky. heavy. awesome. underworld mix two - booming distorted 909 groove with the whines and bleeps. not my favorite. too agressive and scary. sabres of paradise mix - i swear to god this could be an outtake from vivisectvi era skinny puppy. same sort of distorted drum grooves, really. the first sabres track i've really loved. -- Name: Jon Email: jsd@cyborganic.com Web: http://www.cyborganic.com/People/jsd

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - "Exit Planet Dust" - fierce ruling beats, raw cutting sound, trippy vocals for your chill out sessions on a lazy sunday afternoon. Sound System full on by The Chemical Brothers !!!! Also look out for The Aloof's "scenes of crimes" album which is on the same vein of the next generation of trip hopping !
