I heard a song on a local radio station the other day, which I really loved but didn't catch the name of. I thought I'd send out a message, to get some kind of suggestions about at least stuff like it. Basically, I'm interested in hearing stuff that is based around some wah guitar (sampled or whatever) and break beats and big bass lines, preferably with vocals. I'm thinking of stuff more psychedelic and trippy than hip-hop, and preferably funky more than jazzy (although jazzy is cool, for sure). Something like 'Filthy' by St Etienne or the Chemical Bros stuff with vocals, maybe. Sorry if that's a bit vague, Michael ______________________________________________________________________________ "Stability is one of those code words, which means 'rule by the right guys'" scrot@sans.vuw.ac.nz (Michael Upton) - Noam Chomsky ______________________________________________________________________________

try Red Snapper (Reeled And Skinned on Warp now) or The Aloof (Cover the Crime out now as well...i think it's exactly what you're looking for) mike
