No that's no rave speak, its just a typo. Did anyone pick up the Red Snapper lp on Warp? I did pick up the single. The sabre mix is absolutely brilliant. If you can have jazzy trance, this it it. It is so hypnotic. The rest of the single is more straight ahead funky/jazzy/rock. Actual live performance from the sound of it. Its quite good, but i bit to rock tinged for my tastes. Sort of like te red hot chili peppers done right. Good nasty funk but without dropping to far into grunge. I was curious about what was on the full length? Yeah I got the vinyl and the CD (obsessive, me?)

Right on there, I really enjoy listening to this LP, as it has the feel of a live band playing right there between my speakers. All that's missing is the "This next one's called..." and "Thank you, thank you"s

If you have web access, check Gregs WARP discog for a listing, but the lowdown is that it has nine tracks which are simply the contents of their first 3 EPs on Flaw - Snapper, Hot Flush (Which I guess is the one you have) and Swank. The Snapper EP I was lucky enough to get hold of when it came out, and subsequently the main track has appeared on umpteen "Trip Hop" compilations, but I have never seen "Swank" anywhere. The CD has been on sale round here at a slightly lower than full price - even at HMV it was only UKP10.79 (usual CD price in there is 13.99), so I guess WARP marked it down slightly reflecting the fact that this is all material which has been available before.
