I picked up the latest DJ Mag a few hours ago, it has a really cool looking Dave Clarke/Kid Batchelor mix CD with it (the only reason, I hasten to add, worth buying this pitiful publication). Anyway, it sez the track listing is inside, but I'll be buggered if I can find it... Help anyone? The interview with Dave Clarke is quite revealing, sounds as though his Radio 1 essential mix made quite an impact - and so it should have. CD is supposed to contain loads of Network detroity oldies. greg The Official WARP Web Site 3 0 3 http://www.ncl.ac.uk/~n264671/wap-indx.html

I considered buying this but then I saw it only mentioned 2 mixes on the sleeve - are there more than this on the CD? I also looked for a track listing but couldn't find one. Rob.

It's not bad, 71 mins of music, great artwork, music adequate, Dave Clarke spins about 25 mins of old Detroit biz, Fade II Black, Model 500 etc essentially the old Kool Kat stuff, the Kid Batchelor fills the rest, housey stuff. Mixing on both is not really up to scratch for DJs of this calibre but nothing terrible. Buy it. greg The Official WARP Web Site 3 0 3 http://www.ncl.ac.uk/~n264671/wap-indx.html

I bought this and reckon the first mix by Dave Clarke is pretty cool, but the Kid Batchelor housey variety on mix two is just that: housey stuff. If that's your cup of tea then cool, but it's not really for me. If anyone has this freebie CD, can you spin through to the track that runs between 16 and 18 minutes of the Clarke mix and tell me what this track is? The bleedin mag doesn't seem to have a track listing <shucks>. Thanks for now, Mark.
