Anyone else who bought 'Are you now or have you ever been?' by Neuropolitque (matt cogger) on New Electronica? It's a bit different as his earlier works (thinking of those three brilliant 12"es on Irdial-Discs..), some tracks are in a dubbier way.. But it's a nice album, with psychotic neurotic Matt at the controls.. Peel Seamus

have not heard this yet, but am looking too- speaking of Neuro. and Irdial-Discs however: The one and only thing I have heard from Neuro. is the Menage A'Trois cd from Irdial-Discs- is this his debut? Or a collection of the above mentioned 12"? Is there a history of politique I don't know about...? any info appreciated- -Thad

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the album at first (probably 'cause I was expecting more stuff like the Large Spoon ep) After listening to it again (at home rather than the record shop) I realized how awesome it is! I believe there are 4 Neuro releases on Irdial. I have 3 of them, and when I asked Akin of Irdial for the 4th, he said that he is out of Neuro stuff, but they can be found at Kudo's. Irdial-Discs are now being distributed by RTM in the UK. If you are to get the Monster Music radio show compilation, a revised catalog is printed on the inner sleeve. I plan to bring Matt & Akin down to LA for a performance soon. That would be something special! Yes, three four trackers 12"'s were released by Irdial before the album (none of the tracks are on the album), also a track on a B12 12" as Zee (with on the same ep Future/Past and/aka As One), a Peacefrog 12" and also a track on the nice compilation 'Virtual Sex' by Buzz, which also released the 12" Bananagate.. Falling of the train... .. ... . Shit.
