Anybody interested in helping me compile a label discography for these folks? I discovered Robert Armani last year, loved him, and am now hearing Leo Anibaldi for the first time and am on the verge of orgasm. Holy shit! This is total ozymandias music, if any of you were ever curious. Evil, hard, dissonant, and difficult minimalistic acid techno headfuckery. Just like I like it. Anybody that wants to donate music like this to my collection is welcome to. Watch this space -- new reviews on the way, and many of them. Why do I wait until summer to do this? Who knows! There's 7 sets in the pipeline, with tons o' Detroit, my long-threatened jungle reviews, and piles of other good shit (Mr. Ballistic, the sadly neglected new Hardfloor, Pogomax, etc.). onNow: Leo Anibaldi - Virtual Language ozymandias G desiderata personal info : http://www.mbc.umt.edu/ogd/ discographies : http://www.mbc.umt.edu/ogd/aaxz/discogs Missoula raves: http://www.mbc.umt.edu/ogd/aaxz/raves/

I am also interested in other works on this ACV label, I have never heard Anibaldi and am *very* interested. How many are there? Who is in charge of the label? I have picked up the HERTZ E.P. awhile ago and will post full "label notes" info of it soon. It's sorta old(er) I think. obIDM: Hardfloor's Oliver Bonizlla (sp?) spits out "Co-Jack" on a new label distributed by Intellinet that I can't think of the name of. I *think* it's "jack 001" ? ANyway, it's nice 3-track acid 12", stomper beats. I'm impressed. Oh -- Did I already praise DJ POWEROUT's "circut work" on Synewave? This is excellent power-techno, too. 4 tracks, strong electronics and acid, (NOT hardcore) yet very original-sounding dancefloor workout, a great tool. I like this label more and more. DJ ESP's "Low" E.P. on Synewave is a *classic* IMHO. ________________________________________________________________________ | Matt MacQueen | | multimedia/WWW production | |===================================| |==================================| | macqueen@student.msu.edu | | human interface, CD-ROM | |________________________________________________________________________| -8 -6 -4 -2 0 +2 +4 +6 +8

The label is Jakpot records and the 12" is produced by both Bondzio and Heinrich Tillack. Tweaked-out, dark acid-house in a Profan stylee. *Very* sweet.

Dave Clarke spun this at Generation in NYC Saturday night (as well as debuting the oft-talked about Red 3 :) ). Simply massive.

I also *love* this record. So aggressive. That is techno at its best. If you hear something that you'd never expect to hear - that's techno. If you hear something that kind of sounds like you've heard it before, then it's not techno." - Jeff Mills
